How we met
You know that moment you have to look the other way because someone is ‘famzing’ that was how I (Loretta) felt the first time we met. It was a bright afternoon with “Christmas in the air” – December 23, 2005, Ricky and I ran to hug each other after been apart for the first time due to his University clearance. Laurel stood back looking at the joyful moments and the ‘typical care-free Laurel’ requested for his hug. We became ‘Seasonal’ friends after that period – speaking on only birthdays and festivities.

The Beginning
Now it was my clearance and he was the available “Computer guru”. December 17, 2008 marked our very first longest conversation and neither of us wanted it to stop. It was like we have been talking like forever before then. We kept talking…talking… and just talking…despite miles apart (Jigawa – Benin) we felt close
February,2009
Our First Date
Sometime in February 2009, I took her for our first date, she was there in front of me…not miles apart…. She wanted to know where she stood and how serious i really was. Right then, I knew this ship would sail far off if i don’t port. And knowing she was the one,i told her “I want a relationship that could lead to marriage” I remember her smile ”…let’s see how it goes” – her favorite response when she doesn’t have a definite answer. That was definitely better than a ‘NO’

History of LLL
As days turned into weeks, months and years we became best of friends and In Love. It was so obvious to all and her roommates coined the acronym “LLL” (Laurel (Loretta) Loves Loretta (Laurel)) in 2010
